JAMMU, Dec 12: The Congress activists today paid rich tributes to former Chief Minister and founder of Congress Party in J&K GM Sadiq, Syed Mir Qasim- former Chief Minister and GN Mir Lasjan, former Minister in a programme organised here today.
The meeting in this connection was presided over by Anil Chopra- president DCC Jammu Urban and attended by functionaries of PCC, District and various Blocks. The members paid rich tributes to G M Sadiq, Mir Qasim and Mir Lasjan.
While paying tributes, the speakers described GM Sadiq as a most competent and able administrator who gave corruption free and efficient administration to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He played an important role to further cement the State- Centre relationship and brought J&K more closer to rest of the Country by taking several important and effective measures. He was first Congress Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and his tenure is remembered even today as an exemplary one in terms of clean and efficient administration.
The leaders also remembered the services of Syed Mir Qasim and Mir Lasjan and described them best administrators who always cared for people and kept their interests above all.

Madan Lal Malagar, PS Chouhan, Dr RK Khajuria, Gourav Chopra, Purshotam Mehra, Man Mohan Sharma, BR Sharma and Ashwani Handa.
