JAMMU, Aug 20: Former Minister and senior leader of National Conference, Ajay Sadhotra today said that the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks on the issue of reservation to SC/ST/OBC depict anti reservation mindset on future agenda of the Sangh which is harmful for down trodden class of the society and unity and integrity of the country.
“It was farsightedness of the Constitution framer Baba Saheb Dr B R Ambedkar that reservation for the SC/ST/OBC was enshrined in the Constitution of the country. Such utterances create doubt and mistrust among weaker sections of the society. Disturbing reservation is improper and grave injustice,” asserted Sadhotra.
The NC leader asked RSS to desist from such utterances which create doubts among weaker sections of the society. “Instead, poor down trodden should be given sense of belongingness to further strengthen the country and put immediate check on the alienation. The slogan of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas should be adhered to in letter and spirit. It should not be lip service only,” he added.
