JAMMU, Apr 15: Shri Amarnath Barfani Langars Organisation (SABLO) in a meeting of members of SABLO was held today at Shiv Manas Mandir, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh to complete the application forms for obtaining permission letters for setting up Bhandaras during Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2015 and also apprise the members about the achievements of SABLO .
The meeting was attended by large number of SABLO members from Punjab, J&K, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, HP, UP, Rajasthan & Gujarat.
Rajan Gupta, general secretary informed the members that a delegation of SABLO met Dy Chief Minister of J&K, Dr. Nirmal Singh on April 6 at Jammu and apprised him about the issues faced by the Bhandara Organisations during Shri Amarnathji Yatra as well difficulties being faced by the yatris.
The main issues discussed were issue of security of Bhandaras, particularly in view of attacks on Langars and burning of nine Bhandaras at Baltal during 2014 Yatra, relief/financial assistance to these nine Bhandaras, decrease in number of Bhandaras by Shrine Board, providing free accommodation to yatris etc.
After the meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, the delegation of SABLO met Pardip Kumar Tripathi, the new CEO and Jitendra Kumar Singh, Addl CEO and discussed these issues with them also.
A delegation of SABLO later met CEO and Addl. CEO on April 11 at Jammu in which following issues were sorted out various issues were again raised.
Members were also informed that apart from this, many other issues related to Shri Amarnathji Yatra with Central Government, respective Departments of J&K Government, and Shrine Board still remain pending, which could not be discussed due to time constraints. These issues will be discussed and sorted out during future meetings with officials of SASB.
In all a total of 85 applications for grant of permission for setting up Bhandaras were filled and completed during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Vijay Thakur-President, Rajan Gupta-General secretary, Amar Goyal – Finance Secretary, Vijay Mehra, Harsh Rishi, Tirlok Oberoi, Ajay Kumar Tony, Pankaj Soni among many others.
