JAMMU, Feb 20: A 27 member delegation of the Shri Amarnathji Barfani Langars Organisation (SABLO) called on N N Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
The deputation led by Vijay Thakur, president and Rajan Gupta, general secretary of SABLO, submitted a memorandum containing various issues relating to the management of Yatra 2014.
The Governor gave them a patient hearing and asked the CEO to early examine their suggestions. Emphasizing the need to protect the environment in the Yatra area, the Governor reiterated the crucial importance of every Langar organizations taking all required steps to maintain hygienic conditions in and around its premises during the Yatra period and at the time of winding up its services.
Navin K Choudhary, Principal Secretay to Governor and Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Preet Pal Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Board and Rajneesh Kumar, Deputy CEO attended the meeting.
