SEOUL, June 14: South Korean exports in May rose by 3.2 percent from a year earlier, revised customs data showed on Friday, unchanged from preliminary estimates and reaffirming modest growth momentum for the trade-dependent economy.
Exports to the crisis-hit European Union in May fell 14.0 percent from a year earlier, while those to China rose 16.6 percent. Shipments to the United States rose 21.6 percent last month year-on-year.
