Mumbai, June 22 : Rupee on Thursday advanced further by 8 paise to close at 81.96 on brisk selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit moved up 10 by paise at 81.94 in opening trade and finished at 81.96, surging eight paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 81.93 and 82.04 respectively
