SAMBA, Aug 4: A road accident took place near Maheshwar military area of Samba in which RTO Kathua and his driver were seriously injured. The accident took place when RTO Kathua along with his driver was coming from Kathua to Jammu that suddenly on reaching near Maheshwar in Samba, some unknown vehicle collided with it, as a result of which RTO and his driver got seriously injured.
With the help of local people, both the injured were brought to Samba District Hospital. After first aid at Samba Hospital, RTO Kathua Sunil Kumar, age 52, son of Gurdas Ram resident of Roopnagar Jammu and his driver Jasdeep Singh, son of Harcharan Singh resident of Chattha Jammu were referred to Medical College and Hospital Jammu for better treatment. At the same time, in this context, the police have taken cognizance of the matter and started further action.
