DODA, Oct 9: To commemorate foundation day, the Swayamsevaks of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took out traditional ‘Path-Sanchalan’ (full dress route march) here.
The march was taken out from the City Middle School by RSS swayamsevaks and after covering the whole town through the main market ended at starting point.
The march was welcomed at various places by the residents of Doda by showering flowers.
“RSS has always been at the forefront for the national cause and the aim of establishing India as Vishwa Guru is now not a distant dream”, Swami Munishanand Jee Maharaj said.
He stressed on strengthening shakhas. “The Swayamsevaks have more responsibility on their shoulders as country is facing more challenges today than it was facing during pre-independence or post independence days”, he added.
Swami Munishanand Jee Maharaj emphasized upon building the national character among common masses.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Vibhag Sanghchalak Bali Ram and Zila Sanghchalak Angraz Singh.
