NAGPUR, May 11: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday commenced the ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-Dwitiya’ training camp at the Maharshi Vyas Sabhagruh located in the Dr Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan complex at Reshimbagh here.
The camp, being held as part of the RSS centenary year programmes, was inaugurated in the presence of RSS Sah Sarkaryavah and camp patron Atul Limaye, Sah Sarkaryavah Ramdutt, and Jaipur Prant Sanghchalak and camp chief Mahendra Singh Maggo, a release stated.
The programme began with the dignitaries offering floral tributes to Bharat Mata.
Speaking on the occasion, Atul Limaye said such training camps help strengthen the spirit of unity and collective identity reflected in the message “Hum Sab Ek Hain”.
He said the camp serves as an important platform for shaping socially conscious and committed karyakartas dedicated to national service.
As many as 880 swayamsevaks from various parts of the country are participating in the camp.
The sessions during the camp will focus on organisational discipline, leadership skills, social awareness and efforts towards social transformation, the release added.
