Seeks reporting from sister organizations on working

JAMMU, Nov 30: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) while appreciating the welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi Government for the people of entire nation in general and backward and far-flung States and Union Territories especially J&K and Ladakh has given a clarion call to BJP and other sister organizations of Sangh Parivar to launch a massive campaign in length and breadth of J&K UT and familiarize the common masses about these welfare and pro –people schemes and policies.
The RSS, which convened a meeting of top level leaders of its sister organizations including BJP here today to take stock of the prevailing situation in the UT of J&K and review the functioning of its sister organizations has asked the functionaries of these organizations to launch vigorous public outreach programmes to highlight the achievements of Modi Government as well as pro people policies and schemes launched by it during last over nine years of its rule.
According to sources, the senior RSS leaders in the meeting were of the view that BJP should launch a mass contact through its various outreach programmes and apprise the people of the benefits of these schemes. “The people should know that how many homeless people were given houses in the UT of J&K including Kashmir valley, how many people were benefitted by Ayushman Bharat Scheme in getting free treatment, how many people got benefits of Ujwala scheme, Beti Bachao and Beti Padao, StartUps, Vishwkarma, National Livelihood Mission, Mudra Loans, Kisan Simriddi Yojna, Gareeb Kalyan Yojna, Integrated Social Security Scheme and many other schemes which have been launched by the Government in last over nine years’’.
The BJP leaders were also asked to highlight the developmental projects which were constructed and which are under construction in the UT of J&K. “Some times it happens that common masses don’t know about all such developmental projects and welfare schemes but it is the prime duty of the party leaders to visit every nook and corner to meet people of all sections of the society and apprise them about the same’’, the RSS leaders opined in the meeting.
Focusing on next year Lok Sabha elections likely to be held in April-May months, the RSS leaders said that the beneficiaries of the Modi schemes be contacted and they be asked to speak in public about the benefits of the welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi so that proper narrative of Government’s over nine years performance is set, sources said.
They said the RSS leaders also took a complete feedback on the performance of all sister organizations as well as BJP and the heads of these organizations made a complete reporting on their working.
Terming the construction of Ram Mandir a dream coming true, RSS leaders asked the entire cadre to hold programmes allover UT in connection with its inauguration on January 24 next year. The Ram Mandir is a matter of faith for the people believing in Sanatan Dharma as Ram is the symbol of great values, they said.
Today’s meeting will be followed by two successive meetings by BJP tomorrow in which party national general secretary (Org), B L Santosh, party national general secretary in charge J&K and Ladakh UTs, Tarun Chugh, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, co incharge J&K Ashish Sood, party national secretary, Dr Narinder Singh and all other senior leaders of the J&K including its UT president, Ravinder Raina and UT general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul will particiapte.
The office bearers meeting will be followed by incharge of Booth Samvad Kendras and young speakers during the booth Samwad to discuss the future strategy to further intensify the party’s outreach programmes.
Today’s meeting of Sangh was attended by B L Santosh, RSS national joint general secretary, Arun Kumar, RSS Prant Pracharak, Rupesh Kumar, BJP leaders, Tarun Chugh, Ashish Sood, Ravinder Raina, Ashok Koul, other general secretaries of party , VHP and Bajrang Dal leaders of J&K, leaders of Hindhu Raksha Samiti, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Hindu Jagran Manch,etc.
