JAMMU, Sept 28: A delegation of Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (RSM), affiliated to Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), called on Director, School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma and discussed issues of the cadre.
The delegation, led by general secretary Rattan Sharma, discussed burning issues like ATD-2022, DPC of Teachers/Masters/ Non-Teaching Cadre including Class IVth and other related issues.
In the meeting, attention was drawn towards inordinate delay in holding DPCs for Teachers to Masters and release of ATD list. The process of DPC for Teachers to Masters was started in the month of March this year but even after six months have passed, nothing concrete has been done in this regard, said the delegation, adding that this was s a matter of grave concern as it’s hampering Teacher’s career growth badly.
Similarly, process of ATD was started in the month of March this year but due to casual approach on the part of higher authorities, the process is still incomplete. Members present in the delegation requested Director School Education Department for formulation of transparent transfer policy and release of DPC list before Dussehra festival.
After giving patient hearing to the delegation members, Director School Education assured that the DPC list of Teachers to Masters will be released before Dussehra festival and list of DPC of Class IVth is also on the card and it will also be released soon. Regarding ATD, the Director assured that it is under consideration of administration and certain modalities are being redrawn before giving it a final touch so that neither students nor Teachers suffer.
