KATHUA, Dec 16: RS Golden Higher Secondary School, Kharote Morh, Kathua, celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
The event was graced by Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA of Kathua, who served as the chief guest and Mangat Ram Sharma, Chief Education Officer of Kathua, as the guest of honour. The function was presided over by Jasbir Singh, Director of the School.
Several distinguished guests attended the celebration, including Anjana Manyal, Principal of HSS Rahya Samba, Sardar Khan, retired SSP Mohan Singh, former Sarpanch of Kharote Panchayat, and Sardari Singh, former Sarpanch of Kharote Panchayat.
The event commenced with a heartfelt Saraswati Vandana, followed by a range of cultural and patriotic performances that were well-received by the audience. Mangat Ram Sharma, CEO of Kathua, highlighted the importance of skill development for students.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua, expressed his admiration for the school management, praising their outstanding achievement of 100% results in the 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th class exams for the academic year 2023-2024. He also congratulated the students who earned 133 distinctions and two top positions. Additionally, he recognized the achievements of students who excelled in athletics at Goa and the “Bharat Ko Khojo” quiz competition. Jasbir Singh, the school director, presented the annual report, detailing the school’s achievements over the past year.
