JAMMU, Apr 1: Minister of State for Public Works and Revenue, Sunil Kumar Sharma on behalf of Revenue Minister while replying to the Calling Attention Notice by Naresh Kumar Gupta informed the Upper House that the bridge located on Eidgah Road, Bhaderwah was very old and with the passage of time, the wooden deck/superstructure has outlived its life and accordingly has been declared unsafe by the PWD.
He said detailed estimates for replacement of super-structure by way of providing a steel super-structure, RCC jacketing abutment has been prepared at a cost of Rs. 34.27 lakh and the work has recently been allotted for execution.
