JAMMU, June 24: Royal Yamaha, authorized dealer for Yamaha Motor India Sales, on Monday launched much awaited scooter ‘Ray Z’ in Jammu.
On the occasion, DIG Jammu-Kathua Range, Shakeel Ahmed Beig, who was the chief guest, unveiled the scooter Ray-Z in the presence of various prominent personalities of Jammu city.
Managing Director Royal Yamaha, Syed Ifaq and Director, Syed Zahoor were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Royal Yamaha said, “this model is developed to target young male users in the age group of 16-22 years with its concept of Aggressive Sporty Design. It keeps the same basic performance of the RAY model released in September 2012 while giving it a sporty look and feel with smoked-finish visor, dynamic coloring and graphics.”
He further said the new model adopts the same air-cooled 4-stroke 113cc engine with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) that delivers smooth start-up acceleration and good pickup along with great fuel economy.
In India, where market growth is expected to continue, the release of the new RAY Z specifically targeting male users gives Yamaha a stronger scooter line up to expand and increase sales, he added. The scooter is available in all attractive colours in the dealership.
During the launching ceremony, Managing Director Royal Yamaha announced very attractive easy financing scheme which was started from Rs 5000 only on newly launched RAY Z.
Chief guest, Shakeel Beig congratulated officials of Royal Yamaha on the launching ceremony.
