JAMMU, May 16: M/s Royal Park-Luxury Weddings, Conventions, Events, Greater Kailash (Jammu) provided complimentary meal packages to staff of Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu on daily basis during entire lockdown period.
When the whole country was under lockdown, the team of M/s Royal Park facing all odds decided to provide packaged meal to staff of GMC including those who were put up at Government guest houses and police personnel serving in various areas including police station Channi Himmat. From very first day of lockdown, M/s Royal Park started providing complimentary meals to more than 500 staff members of GMC Jammu, besides police personnel deployed at various locations, everyday.
Acknowledging the selfless services rendered by Shivang Gupta, Managing Partner-Star Hospitality, M/s Royal Park-Luxury Weddings, Conventions, Events, Greater Kailash (Jammu), Dr Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent (MS), GMC Jammu today honoured him at his office.
Speaking on the occasion, Shivang Gupta said, “The whole process was strenuous and challenging right from the procurement of the raw material to managing the banquet staff, packaging material and the transportation of the entire process as the complete city was under strict lockdown, but we were determined to make our little contribution to the cause so somehow all the things fell into the place”.
He further added that the whole activity would have not been accomplished without the help of his entire banquet team and then Principal GMC Dr Sunanda Raina, Dr Ashutosh Gupta (HoD Oncology) and Medical Superintendent Dr Dara Singh.
