UDHAMPUR, Apr 26: Revenue Department administration along with Aware India Foundation today established a Rose Garden on the banks of holy Devika in Udhampur.
The plantation drive in this connection was commenced by chief guest Joginder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur. Different species of rose were planted in particular area established as Rose Garden.
Speaking on the occasion, Joginder Singh stressed upon to make holy Devika Ghat clean and green. He also conveyed the message of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai urging locals to participate in such drives for beautification of Devika Nagri.
Prominent among those who participated in the drive, included Vimal Sharma, President AIF; Rakesh Sharma, Head Master Rajinder Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Angrej Singh, Vikas Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Vasu Sadotra, Er Vikundal Sharma, Kuldeep Kumar, Rakesh Sharma and others.
