Srinagar, July 21: After making a failed attempt of the robbery at Grameen Bank in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police apprehend two individuals from the spot.
Officials said that two persons were held after they attempted to rob the bank, while a toy gun was also recovered from them.
It was informed that two persons from Kulangam area of Handwara on Tuesday afternoon went inside the bank and were intending to take away money from the branch by displaying a toy gun.
During their attempt, they tried to lock managed up in his cabin, however, the promptness of the police post Drugmulla played a vital role in foiling their attempt.
Both the robbers have been taken to police post Drugmulla after they were apprehended.
They have been identified as Javid Ahmad and Ashiq Hussain, residents of Kulangam area of Handwara.
