JAMMU, Dec 12: Bus Stand Police sealed roadside eatery for violating COVID pandemic guidelines.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh during patrolling and checking found a roadside eatery “Farooq Muslim Hotel” opened at U-Market at around 1 am and was selling food to customers and clearly violated Corona curfew guidelines issued by DM Jammu.
The owner of the roadside eatery identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Abdul Samad Malik, a resident of Mahore District Reasi was arrested on the spot.
A case under FIR Number 80/2021 under Sections 188 and 51 DM Act has been registered at Police Station Bus Stand and further investigation into the case is going on.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Mohita Sharma.
