Kingpin among four arrested with counterfeit cement bags

JAMMU, Dec 12: RS Pura and Baspur Bangla Police jointly arrested four persons including kingpin with counterfeit property mark cement bags.
As per police sources, acting over an information, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SHO Inspector Jai Pal Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Baspur Bangla Mohinder Singh conducted raid at Rashmi Cement Store at Sunderpur and apprehended four persons including shopkeeper (kingpin) red handed while packing local quality Soldier cement into the bags with mark of Ambuja and Ultra tech in order to earn more money illegally.
The arrested persons were identified as Chainter Singh (kingpin), son of Jagjeet Singh of Sunderpur RS Pura District Jammu, Dilkush Kumar, son of Sudhir Thakur of Bhalbhai District Madyapur Chosa Bihar, Amin Mandal, son of Suresh Mandal of Bhalwa Gola District Bhaghal Pur Bihar and Ghulshan Kumar, son of Poleswar Thakur of Chidki District Madyapur Chosa Bihar, at present Trikuta Nagar District Jammu.
The police team also seized 240 soldier cement bags, 85 Ambuja Cement bags, 5 Ultra Tech cement bags, 2 sewing machines, 5 rolls of white sewing thread, 8 rolls of yellow sewing thread, 1 role of blue sewing thread and empty bags of Ambuja cement and ultra tech bags.
A case under FIR Number 230/2021 under Sections 420, 482, 483 and 486 IPC has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started for the backward and forward channel of the supply chain.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta.
