JAMMU, Nov 27: A road accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today.
As per reports, 72-year-old Barita Ram, son of Jagat Ram of Mazdoor Basti, Resham Garh was seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle on November 15 near Super Specialty Hospital, Bakshi Nagar.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries today.
The body was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections stands registered at Bakshi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
