RKS approves ambulance, X-Ray for PHC Ambgrota

JAMMU, July 2: The Rogi Kalyan Samiti for health institutes of Raipur-Domana today approved various facilities for the healthcare centers of the constituency.
The RKS meeting chaired by the Minister for Forest, Ecology, Environment and Social Welfare and local MLA Bali Bhagat discussed in detail the requirements for the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Kot Bhalwal, PHC Mishriwali and PHC Amb Gharota.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Jammu Dr. J. P. Singh, BMO Dr. Sushma Mattoo, BDO Kot Bhalwal, Vipin Bhagat, Tehsildar Vijay Sharma, CDPO Kanta Sharma, Sarpanch Kot Bhalwal Raj Dev Singh, Sarpanch Mishri Wala Gur Bhachan Singh, Sarpanch Amb Garota Narinder Singh, members and officers of different departments also attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meeting and other requirements to further improve the healthcare in these centres.
The BMO of the Hospital apprised the Minister about the physical and financial achievements for the year 2014-15 along with income expenditure report and balance sheet. The agenda of the meeting which included various welfare steps for the benefit of patients and also steps to upgrade the facilities available in the hospital were reviewed in detail by the Minister.
Bali Bhagat announced one ambulance, latest X-Ray equipment, ECG machine, genset for the PHC Amb Garota.
For PHC Kot Bhalwal, the Minister announced dental chair and also assured funds for maintenance of park in the premises of the hospital.
Earlier, the Minister was apprised that the managements of all three PHCs are facing hardships due to lack of infrastructure in the institutions. Bali Bhagat assured that the matter would be discussed at appropriate forum for early redressal.
Later, the Minister inspected the pace of work on the renovation of traditional water body at Raipur Chowk. The Minister asked the executing agency to expedite the work and use quality material in the construction.
