Ritu starts Vocational Centre, park work

JAMMU, May 7: Under Smart City Project, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Ritu Choudhary along with Pastors and officials from Smart City Project today started work of a park and renovation work of Vocational Training Centre at Christian Colony.
The work is expected to be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 1.15 crore and the funds in this regard have been released.
Speaking on the occasion Ritu Choudhary said the work was a long pending demand of locals of the area and the multi functional park will have a Vollyball court, playground and walking track for old age people.
She further said that the Vocational Training Centre and multi-functional park will give facility to the youth to get engaged in sports activities and avoid drugs and other bad habits.
Shoukat Peter, president J&K Joint Churches Fellowship Jammu; Pastor Daniel Samson, Priest of Pentecostal Church; Pastor Johnson Gill, Thomas Paul, Vinod Victor, Anthony Teji, Thomas Khokhar, secretary JKPCC; Michael Wazir, Coordinator Minority Department JKPCC, Lazer Kandeyara, Camres David Babbloo, president all India Masih Seva Dal; Titus Gill, vice president AIMSD, Daniel Bhatti, Sunil Bhatti and Solman Gill were also present on the occasion.
