JAMMU, Apr 17: Following placement of the service of senior IAS officer Umang Narula at the disposal of Government of India, Rishpal Singh, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, shall look after the routine work of the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Earlier, on April 13, the Government had ordered that Raman Kumar Kesar, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Government, Election Department, shall look after the routine work of the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till the post is filled up in consultation with the Election Commission of India.
The fresh order in partial modification of the earlier order of placement, was issued today by the General Administration Department.
As reported earlier, services of Umang Narula have been placed at the disposal of the Government of India, in pursuance of his appointment as Chairman and Managing Director, India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
