Rich tributes paid to Brig Rajinder Singh on birth anniversary

JAMMU, June 14: Different organizations here today remembered Brigadier Rajinder Singh on his birth anniversary and paid glowing tributes to the ‘savior of Kashmir.’
In a programme organized by Suresh Bharti, BJP East Mandal Secretary; Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President and others paid tributes to the valiant soldier.

It is pertinent to mention here that Brigadier Rajinder Singh, who saved Kashmir from falling into the hands of Pakistani raiders in 1947, had laid his life fighting the enemy.
Speaking on the occasion Sethi said that Jammu is a land of brave Dogras who valiantly fought against the enemy and felt pride in serving the nation.
Meanwhile, former Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga paid tributes to Brigadier Rajinder Singh on his 121st birth anniversary at his native village Rajinder Pura (Bagoona).
Ganga exhorted upon the youth to remember the martyr and imbibe qualities of bravery and valor.
Ankush Jamwal, President Brig Rajinder Singh Youth Brigade, Narinder Partap Singh, District President BJYM Samba, Dheeraj Sharma, BJYM Block President Vijaypur and others were also present on the occasion.
Former Minister and J&K Apni Party, senior leader, Manjit Singh remembered the sacrifice of Brigadier Rajinder Singh on his birth anniversary.
Singh visited the village of Brig Rajinder Singh and garlanded his statue.
J&K Freedom Fighters Association paid rich tributes to Brigadier Rajinder Singh on his 121st birth anniversary.
In a function organised by the Association Chairman, Ved Gandotra and Vice Chairman, Rajiv Mahajan at Dogra Shourya Sthal, Amphalla floral tributes were paid to the great soul.
