RGCN celebrates Nurses Day

JAMMU, May 12: Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing (RGCN) today celebrated International Nurses Day by organizing a mega event in the memory of Florence Nightingale, the founder of the modern nursing.
Various sports activities and recreational activities such as singing competition, dance, mime face painting, pot painting, debates, quiz competition, etc were organized by the students and the staff members of the college.
Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj (Retd Session Judge) was the chief guest while CL Wakhloo (an eminent academician was the guest of honour on the occasion. They shared their valuable thoughts and told the students to serve the society with a noble heart and mind.
Chairman of the College, M S Katoch, in his speech, highlighted the importance of nursing profession. The event concluded with declaration of results of various competitions.
