JAMMU, Sept 15: Senior Congress leader and former MLA, Ashok Kumar has demanded that the recent order of Higher Education Department regarding academic arrangement of lecturers should be revoked.
In a handout Kumar said that under the order highly qualified youth will be relegated to daily wagers and need based workers.
He further said, while the regular lecturers get handsome salaries those appointed under this order will draw only meagre wages.
Kumar also quoted Supreme Court ruling of equal wages for equal work to support his point.
