ReTs to hold protest demonstrations on July 6

JAMMU, June 30: The J&K ReT Teachers Forum has announced to hold one-day protest at all the district headquarters on July 6 to express their resentment against alleged callous attitude of the Government towards its demands.
Decision in this regard was taken during monthly meeting of the Forum, held under the chairmanship of provincial president Rajesh Singh Jamwal, here today.
Highlighting their demands, the meet alleged that despite repeated pleas to the Government, salary of the ReTs under SSA was not released for the last several months. The meet also threatened to launch a State-wide agitation if salary of the ReTs is not released immediately.
Those who attended the meeting, included Younus Rahi Teli, Lekh Raj Parihar, Subash Chander, Sajjad Malik, Gulzar Daing, Sham Sharma and others.
