Retiring employees given warm send off

JAMMU, May 31: Several Government employees who retired on attaining age of superannuation today were accorded warm and affectionate farewell by officers and colleagues of their respective Departments.
Mrs Susheela Manhas, Deputy Director, Statistical Training Institute Jammu,was accorded a touching send off at a function in which Director Economics and Statistics J&K, B R Lachotra was the chief guest who lauded the services rendered by Mrs Manhas and wished her happy retirement life.
Dr S K Sharma, Director, Sheep Husbandry Department, Dr Mohd Iqbal and Tilak Raj, who all retired from SHD after attaining age of superannuation were accorded warm and affectionate send off at a farewell function today. The services of all the retirees were uplauded and they were wished happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Charan Jeet Singh, Foreman, PHE Mechanical Division North Division Jammu, who retired on superannuation today was accorded warm and affectionate send off by the officers and staff of the Department. All wished him a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Warm send off was accorded to Bhushan Lal Sethi, Zonal Physical Education Officer Jib (Udhampur) on his retirement at a function held at Udhampur today. He was wished a happy and prosperous life after retirement.
Chief Planning Officer Samba Sant Ram was given a warm send off on attaining superannuation at an impressive function attended by members of various departments including District Development Commissioner Samba R K Varma who all appreciated the dedication and honesty of the retiree.
Treasury Officer, Civil Secretariat Treasury Syed Jamaat Ali Shah was today given warm and affectionate send off by his officers and colleagues at a small get together wherein the speakers lauded the role of Shah.
Police Headquarters Srinagar organized a farewell function bid farewell to G M Paul who superannuated as Sub Inspector after rendering 37 years services to the department.
Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Association accorded a warm send off to Mrs Suman Gupta, Assistant Registrar and Dr Surjit Singh Sudan, Assistant Registrar, who attained superannuation today from active services. The farewell function among others was attended among others by Manoj Chauhan, Pervesh Ratta, Ravi Gupta, Ashwani Gupta,  Abhinav Sharma etc.
