Sir,
Much controversial decision leading to enhancement of retirement age has finally been stamped making thousands of employees extremely happy and all those standing in queues for service disappointed. Justifiability of any action normally depends upon the quantum of interest/benefit stands attached thereto. The Govt’s move in this direction, at this juncture, obviously is wrapped with deep political interests. Welcoming the decision, it is strongly expected by the Govt to unseal all gates of employment which can ensure handsome opportunities to all, rising above political and economic interests, generally remain woven therein. Inadequacy in industrial phenomenon in the State, makes everyone to depend on Govt services and therefore, a judicious and wise recruitment policy can ensure livelihood to all. Injustice due to favouritism/nepotism and corruption results into bad governance and tarnishes the image of a Govt. Since the elections are fast drawing near any delay in employment drive can reflect sourly and disable the Govt to reap its fruit.
