Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, June 30: Commissioner Secretary, Labour and Employment, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, was given an affectionate farewell by the officers and officials of Departments of Employment and Labour, on attaining superannuation.
On the occasion, speakers described the outgoing Commissioner Secretary as an upright and an honest officer who always did his work diligently. Services of the officer which he rendered for the Department were highly appreciated on the occasion. Director Employment, Ghulam Rasool Mir, Labour Commissioner Bashir Ahmad Khan and other officers wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
A grand farewell was accorded to Ram Tirath Dubey, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. In this connection, a function was organized at Directorate office Srinagar in which various command officers and staff participated. A memento was presented to Dubey by Accounts Officer, Tej Lal Raina, who along with other officers wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Dubey joined services as an Assistant Director in 1985-86 after completing BE Fire from Nagpur and worked in various capacities as AD Anantnag, Staff officer to DG Prisons and Fire Services, Deputy Director Rural, Deputy Director Srinagar, Joint Director Kashmir and Joint Director Jammu. He assumed charge as Director on May 1, 2018 and had a small tenure as Director.
In a similar function at Jammu, Manzoor Hussain, Station Officer Headquarters also received a warm send off on attaining superannuation. Deputy Director, RC Raina, presented a memento to the retiree. DFO Headquarters, Pritam Lal Sharma, Kanwal Peshin, Station Officer, Roop Nagar, Sansar Chand, SO and other officers were present.
A warm send off was given to SSP Police Transport Workshop, Srinagar, Mohammad Amin Tak at an impressive function held at Police Headquarters today. The officer superannuated today after rendering his services at different positions in the department.
DGP, while bidding adieu to the outgoing officer, highlighted his contribution during more than 37 years of service. He praised his commitment and honesty towards duties, and wished him a prosperous post retirement life. Special DG Headquarter, VK Singh, ADGP Law & Order/Security/Home Guards, Munir Ahmad Khan, IG Headquarter, Anand Jain, AIG P&T, Mubassir Latifi and AIG Building, Abdul Waheed Shah were also present.
A warm farewell was accorded today to Dr Sunil Gupta, Prof & Head, Surgery, Government Medical College, Jammu on his retirement in the Committee Hall of GMC Jammu. Principal, GMC, Jammu and all the faculty members, Medical Superintendents and other officers and officials were present on the occasion. They wished the retiring doctor a healthy and happy post retirement life.
Staff and Officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Malvinder Singh, Divisional Soil Survey Officer, Jammu, Rajwant Singh, private secretary to Director of Agriculture, Jammu, and ND Sharma, Subject Matter Specialist, Jammu who retired today after rendering 36- 39 years of service to the Department.
Director of Agriculture, Jammu, HK Razdan, speaking on the function wished the retiring officers a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Razdan recalled the devoted and dedicated services rendered by the Retiring Officers and wished them success and good health in the years to come in their post retirement life.
Warm wishes were also extended to other retiring officers and staff of the department namely Arun Kumar Makhnotra, District Agriculture Officer, Jammu, Parveen Kouser, Assistant Entomologist, Jammu, Ujjagar Singh, District Subject Matter Specialist, CAD, Jammu, Varinder Kumar Sharma, Sub Divisional Subject Matter Specialist, Ramban, Romesh Kumar Kaul, Farm Manager, Potato Farm Gool, Jawaid Iqbal, Agriculture Assistant (Inputs), Surankote, Mohammad Hanief, JAEO, Poonch, Sudesh Kumar, JAEO, Marh, Jaswant Raj, JAEO, Doda, Rehmatullah, Field Assistant, Ramban and Mohammad Shabir, Lab Assistant, Rajouri.
A grand farewell was accorded to Principal of Government Model Higher Secondary School (Boys), Udhampur, Ved Parkash Sharma and Lab Assistant, Krishan Chand on their superannuation.
The farewell function was attended by staff members of the school and relatives of out-going employees. Speakers highlighted the achievements of the retiring Principal and Lab Assistant, and wished them a happy and prosperous retirement life.
Public Health Engineering (PHE),Division Kargil today held a function at Tourist Facilitation Centre Kargil to bid an affectionate farewell to Executive Engineer PHE Division Kargil, Sadiq Ali, who attained superannuation after serving the Department for almost three decades.
Chairman, Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali, Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, Executive Councillors of LAHDC Kargil including Advocate Mohammad Aamir and Aga Syed Hassan Armaan Mousavi, Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil, staff members of PHE Department were present on the occasion. They wished the retiring engineer a prosperous and joyful post-retirement life.
An affectionate send-off was accorded to Ghulam Nabi Hakeem, an employee of the Inspection and Monitoring Wing of the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), who retired today on his superannuation.
Speaking at a function organized in this connection, Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo appreciated the dedication and integrity of Hakeem and wished him good health and prosperity in his post-retirement life.
District Information Centre (DIC) Kargil today held a function to bid an affectionate farewell to Screenman Sonaullah of Tehsil Information Centre, Drass, who attained superannuation after serving the Department for the last 39 years.
Assistant Director Information Kargil, Abdul Ahad Bhat, District Information Officer Kargil Ali Mohammad Tak and other staff members were present on the occasion. Describing him as an honest and hardworking employee who always did his work diligently, the officers and staff of DIC Kargil wished the retiring employee a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
A warm farewell was accorded to Subash Chander, Head Assistant, District Industries Centre Samba, who attained superannuation today. He had been serving the department for last 42 years. Speaking on the occasion, General Manager, District Industries Centre Samba, Varinder Kumar Manyal termed Subash Chander as an honest and hard working employee and wished him a prosperous and joyful post retirement life.
