SAMBA, June 20: J&K Retired Police Pensioners Association held meeting under the chairmanship of its District President Raghubir Singh at Vijaypur.
In the meeting, the participants raised issues including pay anomaly, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 3000 per month, health care policy, reserved 15 per cent quota for wards of police personnel during recruitment, sanctioning of Rs 50000 at the death of police personnel/retiree for performing last rites and free OPD slips in Police Hospital.
The meeting was also attended by Karnail Singh, Mohammad Sarif, Uttam Singh, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Naresh Samyal, Manohar Lal, etc.
