Retired cops raise demands

JAMMU, Jan 15: In a meeting here today, J&K Ex-Policemen League has demanded revival of welfare board for the better facilities to the cops in field of education, sports and employment.
Demand of medical allowance enhancement, removal of pay anomaly etc were also demanded.
League also discussed the outcome of its deputation meeting DGP with demands.
It was informed that the deputation was led by P.R Sharma, SSP retired and raised the demand of office accommodation for the League and hall to hold seminars and meetings apart from the demand of medical facilities for the ailing retired cops.
The DGP had listened the deputation and assured every possible help.
