Retired cops project issues

RAJOURI, Nov 6: Retired Police Personnel’s Forum has urged upon the State authorities to provide 15 % quota to the wards of serving and retired Police personnel in the Police jobs and also enhance their Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today under the chairmanship of district president, OP Sharma the members discussed the burning issues of the retired Police personnel. They stressed for implementation of `one rank one pension‘ scheme for Police personnel as done in case of Army, 15 % quota for their wards in Police jobs, enhancement of Medical allowance to Rs 3000 per month, free Medical treatment for retired policemen and their family members, removal of pay anomalies in case of Head Constables and ASIs and grant of handsome money from the Police Welfare Fund in case of marriage of daughters of retired Cops and also for performing last rites of the retired police men.
