RAJOURI, May 6: The District Unit of Police Personnel Forum, Rajouri today discussed the burning issues of the retired policemen.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today under the chairmanship of Taj Hussain Mirza (vice president), the members discussed the issues of the retired cops. They demanded release of DA installment due from January 2016 in favour of retired personnel, enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, implementation of one rank one pension in case of retired police personnel and provision of 15 % quota for the wards of Retired Policemen in various professional colleges and in Govt jobs.
Besides this, several problems of the retired police personnel were also discussed at length. It was decided to take up these issues with the new Government, through Director General of Police (J&K).
