ReT teachers to begin dharna from Feb 7

JAMMU, Jan 23: A meeting of the Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum has threatened to go for indefinite dharna in front of the Civil Secretariat in Jammu from February 7 if the Government does not concede its demands.
Decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the forum, held in Srinagar under the chairmanship of Gazi Abdul Aziz.
The meet discussed the problems of ReT teachers and EVs and reiterated the long pending demands such as inclusion of five years in the service book, transfer of ReT teachers, leave enchashment and benefit of SRO 43 etc.
The meet expressed serious concern over unprecedented delay in release of the salary of SSA for four months and criticized the concerned authorities for the same.
