ReT Teachers Forum highlights demands

JAMMU/ UDHAMPUR, Nov 4: Jammu and Kashmir Rehber-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers Forum held its monthly meeting under the chairmanship of its State vice president, Bhupinder Singh, in which district presidents of Jammu division and Apex Committee members participated.
While speaking, Bhupinder Singh stressed upon the Government to fulfill their long pending deamands which included regularization of converted ReTs, inclusion of rendered period of ReT for promotion benefits, rational transfer policy, provision of old pension scheme, formal orders of enhancing the pay of ReTs and benefit of SRO-43.
He said that if their demands were not redressed at the earliest, they will come on roads and for any untoward incident, the Government will be squarely responsible.
Among others present were Anil Choudhary, Parshotam Sharma, Raj Kumar, Faqir Mohd Khan, Hussain Sohail, Sanjeev Sharma, etc.
At Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers Forum also organised its monthly meeting, under the chairmanship of its State president, Vinod Sharma, in which various demands of the ReTs were discussed.
While speaking, Vinod Kumar expressed resentment against the exclusion of the eligible regularized ReTs teachers for promotion as master under RMSA.
He appealed the Chief Minister to reframe the lists and include the names of the eligible regularized ReTs, within two days, otherwise that will come on roads to get their demands redressed.
District president, Lekh Raj Parihar, Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Pritam Goswami, Parmod Sharma, Bhushan Khajuria, Susheel Singh, besides many others also spoke on the occasion.
