UDHAMPUR, Mar 3: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum today held its monthly meeting here under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and district president Lekh Raj Parihar.
The meet discussed and highlighted various demands, such as regularization of EVS as general line teachers who have completed 7 years service, inclusion of 5 years period as ReT for seniority benefits, old pension scheme for the ReT appointed before 1-1-2010, transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers and provision of SRO-43 in favour of ReTs and EVs.
While addressing the meet, Vinod Sharma appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately release the salary of regularized ReTs under SSA. He said that these teachers were without salary for the last six to eight months.
Lekh Raj, in his address, highlighted several other issues confronting the ReTs.
Others who spoke on the occasion, included Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Sukhdev Singh, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Parmod Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Bhushan Khajuria, Susheel Singh, Vipin Sharma, Vinay Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Sunil Salaria, Suresh Kumar, Amit Sharma and Anil Sharma.
