RAJOURI, Aug 21: A deputation of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum led by Manzoor Khan, district president Rajouri and Naresh Sharma, chief spokeman met with DEPO, Rajouri for early redressal of their demands.
The demands put forth pertained to releasing of pending salaries of ReT, regularization of teachers, issuing of regularization orders of EV/ReT into general line teachers, transfer of ReTs and regularization of ReT teachers who have completed their five years service.
The deputation comprised of hundred of teachers who came from all the 15 zones of district, Rajouri. They threatened to launch a protest in front of CEO office, Rajouri if their genuine demands are not fulfilled within week.
Prominent participants were Inderjit Singh, Taeiq Khan, Zulfqar Ali, Tasveer Shah, Ashok Kumar, Kartar Chand, Sanjeev, Khalida Parveen, Nirmal Kumari and Sanjeev Chib.
