ReT teachers discuss demands

UDHAMPUR, May 4: J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a monthly meeting wherein they discussed their long pending demands and urging for its implementing at the earliest.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of State president, Vinod Sharma and district president Lekh Raj Parihar accusing the Government for ignoring their long pending genuine demands of inclusion of five years, senority benefits as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have assured them but still the demands still not addressed.
They also blamed the Government for not streamlining the SSA salary as the ReT teachers regularization under SSA are without teachers regularized under SSA are without salary for last one year in many districts. Their families are living in miserable conditions.
The meeting also highlighted the demand of release of MDM (Mid-Day-Meals) dues for last one years and also  requested the ZEOs to maintain the service books of regularized EVS teachers.
The forum warned to adopt agitational path if their salaries of SSA teachers are not released including other demands at the earliest.
