ReT Teachers call on CEO, highlight demands

UDHAMPUR, May 16: A delegation of JK Ret Teachers Forum, headed by its senior vice chairman Bhupinder Singh, called on Chief Education officer Udhampur and highlighted the problems of Teaching community faced at Zonal and District level.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to CEO, demanding that all files of left out Graduate RReTs be submitted in the office of Directorate School Education Jammu for conversion in Teacher Grade II and all regularization files of ReTs be also submitted in DSEJ office for regularization and Conversion to Teacher Grade II.
The delegation also demanded release of pending arrears of Teachers in free and fair manner instead of pick and choose policy, direction to all ZEOs and DDOs to release the salary of Teachers in the first week of every month, issuance of post facto permission for those Teachers who applied for same and release of DA arrears of Teachers Grade II for the month of January, February and March.
After giving a patience hearing to the leaders of the Forum, Chief Education Officer Udhampur said that only 25 files are pending in this office for conversion to Teacher Grade II and also assured that within days, post facto permission will be issued in favour of all Teachers who applied for the same.
CEO also assured the delegation that all other issues will also be resolved one by one within short span of time.
The delegation comprised of the forum State Advisor Vijay Chalotra, State Coordinator Pritam Dhimaan, District president Kuldeep Katoach, Surjeet Singh, Ravikant Sharma, Sanjeev Guleria, Ravi Kumar, Sudesh Kumar, Surinder Khajuria, Randip Singh, Angrez Singh, Jagdish Kumar, Durga Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Ghar Singh, Hoshiar Singh and others.
