JAMMU, Jan 17: J&K ReT Teachers Forum has sought intervention of Governor N N Vohra to redress their grievance vis-à-vis screening test of those ReTs also who possess degree through distance mode from Jammu University, IGNOU and MANNU etc.
A meeting of the Forum was held in this regard, under the chairmanship of Bhupinder Singh and Naresh Sharma. On one hand, the Education Department is going to depute the in-service teachers for B Ed courses through distance mode of IGNOU while on the other hand, ReTs possessing such degrees are being denied regularization and being asked to sit in screening test, the meet observed.
