UDHAMPUR, Sept 4: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held here today under the presidium of State president Vinod Sharma, state vice president Bhupinder Singh and District president Lekh Raj Parihar.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma highlighted issue of regularization of ReTs and appealed the Director School Education Jammu to issue the regularization orders of the ReTs whose objections have been cleared, those with distance mode degrees of UGC recognized universities and those having less enrolment as ReTs.
He also raised the issue of streamlining of SSA salary, which is still pending for last 2 to 3 months and the family members of these teachers are suffering badly. “Though Centre has released 520 crore funds under SSA, still there is disparity in release of SSA salary in different districts of the State,” he said and urged the Government for resolving the issue of SSA salary. He also demanded transfer policy for regularized ReTs and benefit of SRO 43 in favour of ReTs.
State vice president Bhupinder Singh appealed the DSEJ to intervene in the matter of Resource Persons to whom it is asked to provide in service training even on Sundays and holidays.
