PATNITOP, Aug 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and former minister Bali Bhagat has appealed the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately withdraw the controversial circular issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) so that the benefits of the reservation in promotion as guaranteed under the Constitution of India and the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, may be extended to the reserved category people of J&K Union Territory.
He raised the issue while attending BJP’s SC Morcha Prashikshan Shivir at Patnitop, today. In his address, Bali Bhagat asserted that BJP is the strongest political organization in the world and the key to reach and achieve this success has been the Party’s methodology augmented by the selfless role of the Party cadre right from the grass root level to the top in the democratic organizational structure of the Party.
The BJP leader delivered a thought provoking lecture on the topic ‘Hamari Karyapadhati Aur Sangathan Sanrachna Mein Hamari Bhumika’ (Our methodology and our role in organization structure). He said that achieving success in any endeavour depends on four main factors i.e. planning it, executing it, monitoring it and reviewing it. He emphasized that the decision-making process should always be based upon consensus among all the constituents and that too only after detailed deliberations and discussions among them.
During his long and audience captivating lecture, Bali Bhagat highlighted the significant issues confronting the members of Schedule Caste community of this Union Territory. He said that he is fully aware of these issues and asked the SC Morcha members to fight for the solution to these issues.
The senior BJP leader also highlighted and dwelt on the issues pertaining to Jammu based Kashmir employees and the long pending issue of “Reservation in promotion to reserved categories”. He appealed the LG Manoj Sinha to immediately withdraw the controversial circular bearing number: GAD/Mtg/G/ RB-W/04/2016 dated 21.06.2016 issued by the GAD so that the benefits of the reservation in promotion as guaranteed under the Constitution of India and the J&K Reservation Act, may be extended to the reserved category people of J&K.
