JAMMU, Dec 26: Kanachak police handed over a lost bag to its owner here today.
As per police sources, a bag containing Mangal Sutra, ring, Rs 800 cash and some clothes was found by Sarpanch Mishriwala Gurbachan Singh in Pandoria area on December 20.
The Sarpanch handed over the bag to Kanachak police to trace out the owner of the bag.
After putting in sincere efforts, Kanachack police traced out the owner of the bag.
The bag was handed over to the owner namely Jyoti Devi, wife of Baldev Raj, a resident of Kalri Palwal today by Kanachack police led by SHO Rakesh Jamwal in presence of Sarpanch Mishriwala Gurbachan Singh.
