JAMMU, June 11: BJP Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi followed a prolific path to unleash the power of resilience to ensure peace and progress in J&K in the past eight years.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta during a door to door campaign under BJP’s Public Outreach Programme in Langer, Ambika Colony, Greater Kailash and Dilli areas falling in Ward 55 and 68. He was accompanied by Vinay Gupta, district president. The BJP’s Public Outreach Programme is underway to mark eight years of Modi Government at the Centre.
Kavinder said that the tenure of PM Modi will be written in the history of the country as renaissance period as tremendous changes took place under this regime with India transforming into a global power as earlier it was part of the third world and faced dearth and denials on many counts. He asked the people to continue to extend support to BJP at all levels to ensure that the country touched new pinnacles of peace and progress in coming times.
He said that the policies of BJP have long lasting opportunities for the people which might steer the country and its population to extreme level of development and prosperity.
During the public interaction, Kavinder also listened to the problems of the local people and assured that he will take up the matters raised by them before concerned quarters for early redressal. The main issues which came to fore during the door to door campaign in the area included construction of drains and regular supply of potable water as the people briefed the senior BJP functionary that some of the colonies are relatively new and need basic civic infra.
Ankush Gupta, general secretary, Narinder Koki district secretary, Som Raj, Ajmer Singh, Capt (retd) Jameet Singh, Darshan Grover, Prem Chand, Tara Chand, Mohan Lal, Sampuran Kumar, Ramesh Kakkar and Subhash Chander were also present.
