KATHUA, Feb 24: The residents held protest against Power Development Depar-tment (PDD) here today.
The residents of Ward number 9 and 10 blocked the vehicular movement on the road and raised slogans against PDD.
They said that the electric transformer is not working for the past three days and the matter was taken up with the higher authorities of PDD, but nothing has been done till date.
They disclosed that due to non-availability of power, they are facing lots of problems.
After getting information, police and officials of PDD rushed to the spot and pacified the protestors.
