BMS urges Govt to fulfill agreed demands

JAMMU, Feb 24: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), J&K, which observed protest day today as per the decision of its National working committee, has stressed the Government to fulfill already agreed demands of the workers and stop anti-labour laws.
Addressing workers at different places, senior leaders of BMS including president, Subhash Verma, working president, Neelam Sharma and general secretary, Ashok Choudhary, demanded the Central Government to stop anti-labour laws and fulfill all demands like bonus hike, provident fund to 2 crore construction workers, extension of ESI Act to unorganized sector, reduction of gratuity from 5 years to 3 years, on which Government had agreed earlier.
The BMS leaders asked the workers to remain united to protect their rights and safeguard their interests.
