JAMMU, Apr 16: The residents of Ward No 59 led by Ashok Singh Manhas, ex-Corporator met Chief Engineer Power Development Department (PDD) regarding long power cuts in the area.
While speaking, Manhas said that the area is fully metered and despite that the area is witnessing long power cuts of 12 to 14 hours. He added that all this happens due to shifting of feeder from Subash Nagar to Muthi.
The residents served two days ultimatum failing which the people will come on roads to lodge their protest.
Chief Engineer gave patient hearing to the issue highlighted by the deputation and assured redressal.
