JAMMU, July 21: A deputation of the Jammu West constituency led by senior Congress leader and general secretary, Maheshwar Singh Manhas met Minister for Urban Development, Rigzin Zora and appraised him about problems of Janipur, Lakkad Mandi, Bhawani Nagar, Shant Nagar, Paloura, Pamposh Colony and Daily Excelsior lane.
Singh impressed upon for the regularization of the colonies on the pattern of already regularized areas as Mana Basti, Prem Nagar and others. Zora assured the deputationists that their demands will be redressed in this regard.
He issued directions to the Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authorities to process the cases at the earliest.
The prominent among the deputationists were Pawan Kumar, (Raju Mahajan), Prabh Dayal Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, Pawan Dubey, Subash Kesar, Raj Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Sadar Ajit Singh, Sagar Arora and other.
