Residents of GJHC Kunjwani highlight grievances

JAMMU, June 1: The residents of Greater Jammu Housing Colony (GJHC), Kunjwani Bye-Pass, today held a meeting to discuss the problems being faced by them.
During the meeting, the speakers demanded the concerned authorities to immediately start repair work on the trunk road of the Colony connecting Kunjwani and the area beyond with the Railway Station. They also asserted for blacktopping by lanes of the Colony, which are in bad condition.
The meeting also demanded construction of new drains and repair old ones besides assigning more Safaikaramcharis in the Colony, due to whose shortage the Colony has become full of garbage.
The speakers also demanded immediate replacement of electric conductors of the Colony, which they alleged are torn and weak to bear the load.
